Preparing for Academic and Social Success Services

The primary objective of P.A.S.S. Program is to teach students appropriate behavior and social skills. The students learn control strategies and specific social skill processes to replace current self-defeating behaviors and social interactions. Students served by P.A.S.S. must be able to process and utilize cognitive behavioral strategies. Each student maintains placement in the least restrictive environment setting as appropriate and continues involvement with the general and/or other special education curriculum. The P.A.S.S. staff provides behavior and/or emotional support to the student. The secondary objective of P.A.S.S. is to provide instruction in academic and life management tools.
